Of course, changing supervisor is a night mare (or dream) for every PhD student. Once changed sv, the rest need to be changed oso. I've changed my research area 3x, from Entrepreneurship to International Business and now more related to Marketing and Consumer Behavior (however, it still be considered as International Bizz as it will be a cross cultural study).
My new research will be more on Religiosity and Consumer Behavior to be specific on Halal Food. Alhamdullilah, so far, everything goes well, had search the hanky panky issue on Halal Food (this will be the research Problem). I have dig up info which a lot from PPIM website (website with great info!).
Basically data collection will come from Arab country and as well from Malaysia. Possibly, I need to travel to Gulf Countries, pakistan and so forth. On last meeting , Prof MD has invited Irfan Sungkar (Big name on Halal issue world wide). He is very much interested to help me and requested to join in the research. Alhamdullillah...Also not to forget, Prof MD has been granted a research grant on Halal Food. This is so called a 'rezeki' for me. A proposal of this will be made and I will be assisted by, I can say a huge fund to complete my research (using Prof's channel)... And once again Alhamdullilah... Rabbi Yassir Wala Tu' Asir...
p/s: I feel like crying while typing this entry, Allah has given me the way and now it's me to do the rest (with the help of Allah, of course). Syukran!
